Angel of the North

Angel of the North, Newcastle upon Tyne.

An evocative print of the Angel of the North sculpture in Tyne & Wear by Southsea-based artist/illustrator Dave Thompson - a modern twist on the iconic style of the vintage railway and travel posters.

This contemporay steel sculpture, designed by Sir Antony Gormley, was completed in 1998 and is located near Gateshead in Tyne & Wear. It stands 20 metres tall with a wingspan of 54 metres.

Supplied backed and wrapped, measuring 14" x 11".
